Why?

Genuine question!

So people know you own it, you like seeing your name, some sort of anti-theft feature, stops you trying to get into other similar vehicles....?.I can't think why you would need this so would love to hear why. Thanks!
Presumably so people know that he's kind of a big deal rolling about in a 5 series like a boss.

There's honestly no other reason but weird bragging/vanity is there?

I'm still wondering how FOO TJB exists in the first place.

Maybe, just maybe, that's not the actual number plate / spacing issue in question.

Wonder if the OP could post a pic of the actual mis-spaced plate up?

Well I don't know....hence asking the question.

I was thinking maybe I had missed an obvious reason....

Is writing your name in full on a plate a vague attempt to tell people what yr plate is actually supposed to say ?

Or is it the 2016 version of "kev and Sharon" in a green sun strip in a 1978 Capri smile

I have a private plate, but I'd never think to mis space it.

Ok so:

Q. Why do I have my name on it?

A. It's a well kept secret up until now, but ALL military personnel have to do this. It's in Queens regulations.

I don't drive a 5 series. This is terrible sleuthing chaps!! My cars are contained within my other posts.

My plate isn't F00 TJB. Although I am partial to one.....

I really wanted to get B16 SAC to be honest, but someone else already has it - clearly he must be a soldier too.

I am a psychopath. Again this is no secret, all soldiers are. It the best bit about the job - you can just do anything you want and there are no repercussions.

In which case, it would appear that my car was previously owned by a squaddie called "Mr. Perfectplate"tongue out

I'm sure he doesn't have his name on his 'chav' plate - he is just winding up people who get angry about such trivia!

That Lambo plate - there is actually no minimum size for a plate - just rules on font size/spacing and minimum margins. There is room to chav about a bit and get a neater plate that sits better whilst still being 100% compliant and a model citizen biggrin

I cry myself to sleep every night worrying about it
You do seem to worry what others will think about you - surely the whole point of the tweaked number plate is to "impress" others?

How about these 2 delightful 'personalised' bastardised chavplates. Sums up the increasingly popular but illegal fkwittery amongst chavplaters perfectly.

Complete with the perfect chav pad too.....hehe

True class.

Never understood why we don't have pressed metal plates like most other countries. Would pit a stop to illegal spacing in an instant

I'm not a chef. Army chefs have been around for many years though and the course is so hard that nobody has ever passed it.

I rarely mention it unless someone asks. On here people normally see from my profile that I am and then try and use it in some sort of negative way. All very odd. I'm sure they wouldn't do it to my face as I bristle with muscles and take immense delight in killing.

Do you do anything other than sarcasm? You post (stupid) questions expecting genuine answers, and then reply to everyone else's posts in a somewhat juvenile, sarcasm.
