I'm heartened that there is still a modicum of discretion and sense left within some councils. Demonstrates that it is worth challenging these things when appropriate.

I suspect that, rather than discretion, it's down to pragmatism: LBB didn't want to spend any time/money countering an appeal to London Tribunals (which they were well aware they might lose on the signage point) or Trina is up to speed and appreciates the significance of the TPT Kornbluth decision.

As is usual with LAs though the language is face saving with the standard threat in the final sentence. I sometimes wonder if these apparatchiks realise how ridiculous they appear churning out such self serving prose. If the circumstances are similar why would the outcome be any different?

Been there. You're fked. Bang to rights, pay it up while its cheap and learn not to cross the line until the filter lane is open. Whether there's a thrusting red bandit there or not us irrelevant.

There you go.

You got the result you wanted. British justice prevails. I expect some people will complain about that.
