What was it that made your driver report this?
The MD has rubbed me up the wrong way and I know others who feel the same.

not before I emailed my complaint and got the MDs response.

Still haven't and won't mention at school, I will of course sack our driver on the spot monday morning, driving over a roundabout like that oh the liberty.

i am not out to ruin a local business since most on here don't see a major issue, I will drop it.

And it was you driving?

Only the dashcam footage on YouTube, whilst a different mounting position - the car interior looks very similar to when you had the run in with that Audi SQ5?

I don't want to sound like an arse but give them a chance to do what?

If all you are after is an apology then I would suggest moving on as life is to short.

Had there been a collision then fair enough but for a near miss all you seem to be doing is causing yourself stress for no reason.
No thats a fair comment just make them aware of poor driving and maybe they could use it as a driving briefing tool.

We need to be careful, people out there with dash cams and it can all go wrong in hd!

I'm not looking for trouble. It's a free forum and a reasonable question. I still don't understand why any driver would report event that to you....

You clearly have a fleet, a range of dashcams, and quite an issue with the coach company.

Is there more to this story?

You should not be using your position of school governor in this instance.

The situation has nothing to do with that position and the implication is that it will somehow effect the relationship between the school, the coach company would well be within their rights to make a complaint to the school...

I would suggest you mention your conflict with the coach company to your CoG and HT now that you have used the governor position to try and influence the outcome....
WtF ?

are you suggesting that governors do not share in the responsibility to ensure that the School provides safe and effective provision ?

I think the point is that it should not be unilateral but with the support and knowledge of the other governors, or at least their consultation. To be fair, it might bring a better outcome if they acted together.

No like I said only coach /bus company that I regularly see hairy stuff from, saw one guy using his mobile but no footage.

I run dash cams on all cars I drive.

I wouldn't of posted had the MD not responded the way he did, it's his attitude and like I said I heard he complained about our school referring to his luxury coach (his words) as a school bus,

They are expensive and run a fleet of old coaches cobbled together. With in my opinion not great drivers.

There aren't of many alternatives sadly.

The guy clearly would like to tell anyone who complains without seeing the evidence to F off.

The md to consider small town and market and not just take stuff seriously if someone hints they might be involved as a customer.

I get the impression he would drop us like a hot potatoe if were referred to his coach as a bus again in our hand out to parents.

I have seen a daddies boy director like this guy run a decent business into the ground shouting at staff and anyone who dared say something he disliked. The op's manager was 18 year veteran of the company built it up but was called every name under the sun for ordering a sat have whilst the md was on hols.

I advised him against a loss making contract which he took anyway, then it went wrong the business went I to a administration owing 4m to the bank. People didn't get paid but the md with a certificate from agricultural college moved assets to the Ltd servicing business and carried on.

As was mentioned earlier in the thread, with your grammar and punctuation, are you really a school governor?

Sorry no trolls please. Please don't harass me, I'm having a hard enough time convincing everyone that this isn't just some simple grudge I have against a local coach operator.
Corrected that for you...

Hastily Posting on a phone that's all.

The easiest thing for me to do would be stop posting rather than reply if that's the case.

You've quoted the wrong guy you arse!

Anyway, despite your 2000 odd posts, you haven't exactly brought much to the thread either.

"Illiterate school-governor in local coach-company internet hate campaign."

Are you also powerfully built goatee'd company director and a hammerer of frozen sausages by any chance...?
