You'd be hard pressed to argue that the drivers didn't bring this upon themselves. There is hours of footage from myriad sources available online demonstrating just why pokice powers are being used to curb the problem. Of course, there will always be someone willing to accept a quick buck to argue the other way, that's what the legal system is built on.

There is no question that there is a problem, however the worry is that vague powers are being used to create new offences rather then the existing defined laws which target the actual problems and offences being committed.
