DVLA Licence check

If you check someone's driving licence details on the DVLA site, are the points and bans only shown if they are current, IE points within 3 years or currently disqualified, or is everything in the last 5 years listed?

I have expired points that expired this year they a still there but shown as expired believe they drop off completely after 4 months won't know till January on that

IIRC they show for 4 years.

Points show for 4 years on your history but run out after 3.

Other stuff, it depends on the offence. I got banned for drink driving 9 years ago but it shows on my licence for 11 years so still shows at the moment on the online check.

I got a DD which is now more than 11 years ago, and it does show on the screen when I check my license.
But it did not show on the system when the hire car company checked it.

Hire companies only see the last 5 years I believe. Rehabilitation of Offenders Act iirc.

OK, thanks. But the duration, as someone already said, for a DD to stay on your license is 11 years not 5.

Why does it not get removed from DVLA database entirely after 11 years then?

How many years longer than the 11 it stays on your licence has it been?

It was Jan 2004, so it is now over 12 years.

Quite a few types of endorsements stay on your license longer than 5 years... any of the more serious ones like DD certainly do.

Maybe. Can't be arsed though as it has no effect on anything. Doesn't need to be declared for insurance, and isn't shown for hiring cars.... too much effort for no benefit.
