Here you go:
https://www.gov.uk/speed-limits
If you're driving a van/lorry/motor caravan/mobile home/towing take note that the limits are different to a 'normal' car type vehicle & that catches quite a few out but it's all in the link.

Legally: Anything up to 70mph depending on road and vehicle.

Ilegally: Depending on vehicle and traffic.

Yup, the single carriageway NSL for lorries changed (around April 2015, I think) from 40 to 50, but this change didn't take effect in Scotland for some reason.

Fortunately most of the trucks are under 2,040 kgs empty but the new Ranger Double Cab is slightly over...

I take it that a Range Rover or a Discovery 3 at 2.7 tonnes is considered to be a large estate car with 4wd ?

Yes, they are cars (apart from the somewhat rare Discovery Commercial).

Oddly enough, one of the companies I sub for has a White Discovery MK1 Commercial - I've never seen another though.

Didn't realise this, but since few lorries (or vans for that matter) stick to the limit here ('cos there's little chance of meeting traffic cars on our roads any more)................

Got overtaken by an extra long transit yesterday - I was doing 65 on single carriageway (yes, I confess) - but he was towing a double axle caravan at the time!
