Am claiming compensation for 'deprived enjoyment' because there are too many others on the road getting in my way.

I once had the entirely innocent misfortune to buy a 1-year old car which turned out to have been stolen and 'rung'.
The dealer did not seem ready to repay me as I had 'owned' the car for 13 months when the police took it away for forensic testing.
After about 2 years of legal wrangling I received a court judgement for full repayment of the original sum paid, plus interest plus a not-insignificant sum for 'loss of quiet enjoyment'.

This will be down to an accident management company saying "take the SLS, the other party will pick up the tab" and then leaving him out to dry when the insurance company contested it. That's when you look at the rental agreement of the like for like and find out that if the insurance company refuse to pay, you are on the hook.

I'm just going through this at the moment. I had a non fault accident, someone backed into my Volvo V70 in a car park (I wasn't even in the car). Enterprise have been contacted by my insurance company to supply me a replacement car while mine is being repaired. They are offering me something of a similar size from now until the return of my car.
The damage is minor, my car doesn't go in till Monday week! I've told them to deliver the car to the repairers when I take mine in and don't make it something big as I won't be doing anything bar commuting to work that week!
They're all trying to cream a bit more money from the insurance!

So if the wife is in a crash and is out of action for a few weeks can I claim for my lack of enjoyment in the bedroom, could I hire a hooker and claim it back from the insurance.

Give it a try and report back! What could possibly go wrong?

...and would the insurer cover the divorce costs arising?

They could be swingers and the wife was ok with it.

All jokes aside it seems to fits the same criteria as the car thou.
