At fault claim as a witness/pedestrian!?

Sorry completely (almost) off topic but that reminded me of something from years ago. I used to work for the police. The station in Brighton overlooked a particularly rough estate. The people who worked there would told not to look out the windows as there was a pretty good chance you would witness a crime and then have to be a witness

Not trying to excuse the tttish behaviour by LV in this case, but perhaps it will serve as a lesson for your son not to ignore something that comes through in the post?
