100% a van, taken from the middle of the road, and it says "mobile enforcement vehicle" in the letter! wink

The point is I had absolutely no idea it was somewhere I "shouldn't" park, I didn't park on double yellows and there were no other signs in the area.. perhaps there was one at the entrance to the park?
Look at it on streetview. There are huge great big signs at the side of the road on all entrances, about the last point the SV car gets to.

Do you mean the signs wish say no stopping but are not no stopping signs because it's not an adopted road. The signs which also include the fees for stopping in writing to small to be read safely at the speed limit for the road.

I agree withspikey
Get onto pepipoo and read the very long threads about JLA.
He is correctin all aspects re VCS. The land is covered by bylaws and as such only the land owner can prosecute the driver not the owner and within 6 months of the offence.

BUT you must play ball with VCS by writing to them with a many stonewalling letters so the offence times out. They cannot chasethe owner see various threads on there re POFA and relevant land.
There are many leeter templtes to assist you BUT do not write to VCS saying or even suggesting who was driving. Appeal as the keeper and always say the driver did this or the driver did that, id VCS havent that info then they are in deep doo doo and ignore any threats about debt collecting agencies, they have no legal standing to collect anything, only court appointed baliffs have that.
So get onto pepioo, regster, start a thread about the ticket, not mentioning who was driving, as the PPC read pepipoo, and then follow pepipoo advice to the letter, you should not have to spend a penny. As spkey said VCS would be on sa very sticky wicket if they did go to court as their scam, and other PPC on relevant land would fall apart like a house of cards. In fact there is a fighting fund to assist the first person if they do, did i say follow the advice on pepipoo?

As stated earlier you'd do well to remove any indication of who was driving your car at the time of the offence because that's who they will need to pursue.

Then get over to a more suitable website to draft your response as registered keeper.

They're clear and obvious signs that the landowner have put out, explaining what they do not want you to do whilst on their land.

Like I said earlier - Don't like that? Don't use their land. Yes, it IS that simple.

Not worth the plastic they are printed upon, and have been debunked many times at appeal. These no stopping charges never make it to court to be properly challenged though.

Would you like to hazard a guess as to why the parking companies have never pressured one to court ...?

Here's the main site entrance to the Estuary commerce park.
streetview link

Where is the clear and obvious sign?
