Disabled spaces are disabled spaces 24/7. Restrictions may apply to other spaces, but not disabled spaces. You need to pay the fine I'm afraid.

Good, pay the fine and learn your lesson.

I can see where you think you are coming from, but you have misunderstood as I guess you now know.

You were caught, and now you are almost certain to have to pay the fine I'm afraid.

Is that correct in every case?Im sure I have seen some disabled bays that were time limited.
Does the OP have a street view link?Or a link to the parking TRO?

My neighbour only needs to use his wheelchair between 9am and 6pm. At 6pm his legs grow back and he regains his mobility. Sadly a 9am they wither and shrink away to nothing again.
Benefits?

Many are timed. OP, we need to see the signage

Surely if it's timed from 9am Monday to 6am Saturday, then anyone can park from 6am Saturday to 9am Monday.

Need to see the exact wording on the sign.

In Lincoln we have disabled spaces that are only reserved 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Outside of those times they are not disabled spaces.

Timed disabled bays near me too, grab a photo of the sign and take it from there.

I find this hard to believe but happy to be proved wrong...

They do exist - the disabled parking bays outside Epsom police station used to be time restricted. Each bay had a sign above it to make it 100% clear in fairness. Not sure if it still applies as it has been a while since I parked in that section and they've recently jacked up the charges again!

This case sounds like a misinterpretation though.

Reduced tyre wear and he can walk home from the pub.

Not the OP's space, but an example of a timed disabled space.

used to be a disabled spot outside my old flat, only in effect from 8am to 6pm

every morning a motorbike cop would pull up before 8, if a car was there it would be towed by 5 past 8

I annoyed him a couple of times by strolling out at 7.59 and driving off, just as he had his pencil ready
