Well after giving up my Sunday at a charity 'Insane Terrain' it looks like a gashed hand has welcomed the HFM lurgy into me. Hands and feet are now covered in blisters, cold sores epidemic and sore throat aggravating mouth ulcers. There's no cure, just got to crawl into my pit for 5-8 days. Any tips on easing the impact?

No tips, just sympathy.

I got it a few years ago off my daughter. The whole family had it at the same time, which was fun.

The thought of the rest of the household getting it from me is scary!

When my kids have had it (aged 2 and 3) they weren't too bothered.

Lots of viral (Coxsackie A usually) illness are quite mild in kids

Well it's progressing beautifully with a garnish of Impetigo now... it seems if you're unlucky enough to get it as an adult then you're clobbered
