Doing my weekly shop and witnessed something which would no doubt send Guardian readers wild with rage if it was the other way around.

Shop in question closed in 5 minutes and as I waiting at the exit three people entered. One woman and two males.

Security guard abruptly grabbed a gentleman by the arm 'We're closed mate", the other gentleman then challenged him and got the same 'Go away we're closed' and they reluctantly left.

Then after less than a minute enter a young woman in her tight gym gear (maybe relevant). She got the "quick now, we're closing in a few minutes"

Now imagine the outrage if roles had been reversed. Surely some kind of gender based discrimination here.

Compensation for the males?

They were on about discrimination R4 at lunch time

Going to a wedding fair all the stall holders talked to the bride and ignored the groom.

Female lawyer said it was probably discrimination but as there was no actual loss it was pointless brining a case.

As I have thought for years the man is just another accessory like the flowers, cake or venue
