This saga has gone on for so long now and is so bizarre, that it's lost any hint of being a true event.

As others state IF true hoping the OP gets his car back with as little wear and tear as possible and that he doesn't try to persue the bank for not being to use his vehicle for one month when it was in the previous owners name....

Just keep of a log of who you called and when - if you can record calls all the better - things have a habit of being lost in translation. Might even be worthwhile asking for transcripts of calls as well if you can.

It turned into a film where I forgot who some of the characters were. I missed some dialogue and then lost the plot.

PS not looking good for return of car but you never know. It is Christmas after all !!

I think if it was me, I would have asked a solicitor to draft a letter to expedite the process, maybe cost £100 but would be worth it.
