But followed the apparent advise of legal proffesionals. I do hope OP gets his car back and posts a photo with custard, assuming this isn't all made up of course.

I couldn't care if they crushed it and returned it to the OP as a key ring.

This saga has gone on for so long now and is so bizarre, that it's lost any hint of being a true event.

Welshbeef has turned it into a martyr of his Porsche thread, and that's it.

Booooooooooooooooooorriiinnng!

hehe
Only custard can rescue it now. As you say too much bizarre incidents and drip drip feeding of info raised a few question marks.

As others state IF true hoping the OP gets his car back with as little wear and tear as possible and that he doesn't try to persue the bank for not being to use his vehicle for one month when it was in the previous owners name....

Just keep of a log of who you called and when - if you can record calls all the better - things have a habit of being lost in translation. Might even be worthwhile asking for transcripts of calls as well if you can.

I'm really curious how this turned out.

Any news OP? Have you had your car returned yet?

It turned into a film where I forgot who some of the characters were. I missed some dialogue and then lost the plot.

I think if it was me, I would have asked a solicitor to draft a letter to expedite the process, maybe cost £100 but would be worth it.
