I think if it was me, I would have asked a solicitor to draft a letter to expedite the process, maybe cost £100 but would be worth it.

I can see how this thread will end...

OP doesn't get the car back and goes silent, proving those on thread correct, or

OP gets the car back, and most on the thread say it was a windup or a Welshbeef style tale.

I got flamed earlier for suggesting it might be a porkie pie story - apparently "aggressive" when challenging the OP to push the bank a bit harder for a firm date for delivery

Actually you were called out for being aggressive and constantly questioning, not for suggesting it was porky pies.

A simple "I don't believe this story" would have sufficed.

I said custard a number of times and clearly from the questions raised anyone could understand the underlying direction

Do I believe it ? Not really too many inconsistencies, drip drip info and some IMHO very unusual choices unless £ is no object.

(Ps if you want to see aggressive posts - not mine- head over to News Economy and Politics or the Lounge can get pretty punchy).

He is still here / well posting on the above thread linking this thread and has one post where he is trying to defend a trolling challenge.

I think you're purposely missing the point but let's drop that discussion as it's not what this thread is about.

I couldn't care if they crushed it and returned it to the OP as a key ring.

This saga has gone on for so long now and is so bizarre, that it's lost any hint of being a true event.

Welshbeef has turned it into a martyr of his Porsche thread, and that's it.

Booooooooooooooooooorriiinnng!

hehe
Only custard can rescue it now. As you say too much bizarre incidents and drip drip feeding of info raised a few question marks.

As others state IF true hoping the OP gets his car back with as little wear and tear as possible and that he doesn't try to persue the bank for not being to use his vehicle for one month when it was in the previous owners name....

You can keep saying that as much as you like doesn't make it true.

I think you will find most posters here have significant trust issues with this story

FFS whenever I see new updates on this thread I get marginally excited, then come on to see its just Welshbeef again.

So you believe this story then?
You don't have any suspicions ?

And what do you say to the many who have posted on this thread who don't believe it? They are not banging on the €$¥

I'm happy to let it run it's course, you have become obsessed with it like a yappy dog with a bone. Let it go hippy
