If they are happy for that compromise that's fine for them, it's their prerogative. I wouldn't expect them to be constrained to our laws or us to theirs.
Also there are far more countries that have limits than don't.

Out of interest, what do you think? Are we better off with or without them? If you'd prefer without, would you do anything else (maybe a higher level of driver training)?

Looks like for whatever reason the doesn't want to tell us about the v5.

All a bit pointless without that information imo.
