Good Luck and I mean that because you haven't been on here posting stupid excuses.

I'm sure you'll learn from this.

Thanks. Me and AGT exchanged a few emails. He helped me format the letter correctly, didn't edit the letter itself, so I assume it was decent enough and on topic for what the courts want.

I'll be heading into bexley magistrates now guys, I will update once out!
All the best, hopefully as positive of an outcome as you can hope for.

62 in a 30 means indicated 65+ - how the hell were you going that fast in a 30 zone? nuts

Get a solicitor - by any means - as you could be looking at losing your licence.
You should lose your licence at that speed in a 30 mph zone. What where you thinking?I'm no angel and had a few tickets but you take the biscuit.

Good luck. Eventually you'll be able to look back on all this as just one of life's lessons!

My friend got done for 53 in a 30 and he told me the judge basically gave him a right royal rollicking! You'd think he'd fingered some children how he went on (so I'm told...).

But speed is bad, so...

14 day disqualification and £330 fine.

Trying to stay level headed and calm so I can think straight. I'm supposed to be back to work tomorrow.

I have two lieu days. A long weekend from Thursday to Monday. I need to somehow get 9 days covered at work.

I need even more luck now

Is there no way you can work from home or get public transport to work? Worst case scenario is to take the day's off unpaid leave if no paid leave left.

To be honest I'd go straight to the top and speak to the garage manager and ask him if they will even keep you on after a disqualification.

Hope you didn't drive to court!

You could ask your company if there are any office based tasks you can do for the next 2 weeks? I'm sure they can work something out.
