Hi all.

These seem good value for money.does anyone own one?
How is the general quality of the build / interior

Any known issues with this engine?

Ive a 2ltr BlueHDi, good car with no real issues, material quality is much better than previous models, the 1.6 engine isnt bad either but if you are doing short journeys then bin the idea of a diesel and look at one of the 1.2ltr turbocharged puretech petrols

An Allure or GT Line 120 is probably my pick of the range.

I can't imagine you'd be unhappy with the cabin, the seats are comfortable and it's perfectly nice place to be, in my experience everything is very well put together and everything functions exactly as it should.

Thank you for your reply. I really like the look of it, spec and build seems to be fine too. The car I would like to keep for at least 5 years.

The only report I have hard issues of are to do with corrosion on pipes to do with AC and on a car that new it isnt great.
I am not sure if they have changed the design of it or if there is anyway I could check this on a potential purchase

It's not something that I've come across so I can't really comment.

They come well equipped so it's a car that you can have for a decent period of time and not worry that it's going to become outdated too quickly. One thing of note would be that earlier this year the reversing camera was deleted on the Allure. So if that's the model you're looking at and if you're looking at used ones be aware that it might not be on some.

I appreciate things like reversing cameras aren't the be all and end all of motoring but personally I think it's quite a nice feature and would be disappointed if it wasn't there and I was expecting it to be.

Not sure if these are based on the old 1.6 HDi found in numerous vehicles such as Ford's , Mini, Volvo etc.
If they are...avoid like the plague.

I have the new 308 sw 1.6 hdi 120hp, 43k miles from new and faultless. No issues whatsoever, no rattles or faults.
Average mpg 62 round town.
