Don't rise to these people bud, they're perfectly perfect, and extremely dull.

You will be up at Southend Magistrates, state your case, be honest. You'll be getting a serious slap, but if the mum/motability thing is genuine, should keep your ticket to drive. Best of luck. AGTLaw is probably the only one here that has a proper clue.

Are you saying 100 is OK provided there is no enforcement?
That enforcement is the only deterrent and the speed itself is inconsequential?

I think travelling at 100mph is perfectly OK , and a fair bit more too if it makes any difference
Maybe you could point out where I said it was ok?

Sorry but given the obvious cameras, why would you drive at such a speed?

I expect 3-figure speeds are like telephone numbers to you?
It really isn't that big a deal.

OP get a professional to prepare a mitigation statement for you. As mentioned earlier in the thread AGT Law comes highly recommended on here.

http://www.counsel.direct

Sure it will cost you but when your job is at risk it's clearly worth it.

Good luck.

In complete agreement about the 100 mph plus being ok statement earlier. If I can, I will. At least, where possible without repurcussion. Reversing out of the garage, etc.

You say you're a "named driver" on that motability car - does she drive or not?
She doesn't drive
And I think you said you were the only driver of the mobility car? In which case I would include a letter to the court saying she IS a dependant on you, and all the associated apologetic words about how stupid you've been.

Do you really think that? It may be safe but everyone knows the M25 has speed cameras. To do over 100mph when your job relies on having a licence then come on a forum and cry about it seems pretty daft to me.

100mph should be no big deal on the M25.
100mph is no big deal on the M25.
It only becomes a nuisance if one of those tiresome cameras takes a picture.
Those tiresome cameras mean slowing for gantries if doing 100mph.
Fact.

The OP got caught by one.
He came on here for some advice.
He got some advice.
Then predictably some of the usual suspects started telling him off.
Fact.

Why and what are those doing the telling off gaining from this behaviour?
Is there a point?

And how do you know the OP was crying?

Am in a 'usual suspect' by any chance? I am just pointing out the stupidity of his actions. I love driving fast like anyone but whether you or I think 100mph is fine on the M25 is a moot point. There are cameras and there is a penalty for being caught. The risks are pretty obvious.

He took a risk, it didn't pay off so deal with the consequences.
