The 900ft was an approximation. I will need to get down there and get an accurate measurement.

I was nicked at almost 1000ft by a mobile plod once with the laser gun on a tripod. Had a little chat with the copper about validity at 1000ft etc then he pointed out he'd actually written 59mph in a 40 and was still offering 3 points as opposed to the 76mph he'd first pinged me at...
