Quad bikes and noise...

Don't know if my neighbour had a word or not??
Find out. This is important. If he hasn't, the pair of you should go round there together, round up your other neighbours too.we had an issue with a kid in his late teens near to us who would have huge loud parties if his parents went away for the weekend.
he wouldn't turn the music down until 3am when several neighbours turned up on his doorstep (numerous occasions) and his house is right next to a care home.
after about the 3rd or 4th time several neighbours complained to the parents, they said they'd seen no evidence of a party and were shocked, they also balled him out right there and then with the neighbours present.
I wasn't part of the group, but the guy 2 doors away who i speak to was.
Well a complete change of story... Turns out that it's wasn't on the original persons land as I thought. The were on farming land around the edge of the private land.
However, the bikes belong to a neighbour two doors down from me... He owns a thin strip of land that backs onto the field. The dad is away a lot on business (deals in diamonds) and mum owns a hair salon... Works full time.
Their 16 year old lout and mates are razzing around while mum is at work. But it's on their land...and they are louts as they are hurling abuse at anyone who challenges them and swearing like troopers.
Ex-police neighbour got the police onto them, but as they've retreated to their own land which is even closer to my house there's not much they can do.
I called the farmer and he's given them a ticking off. The police have been around and given them a ticking off. But they started again at 4:30 this afternoon...
However my neighbour is going round tonight and I'll follow if needs be... And a few other neighbours are lining up.
I'll keep updating the thread when anything happens... I've taken video footage to send to the council/environmental agency if need be.
My neighbour has really got the bit between the teeth though... So it'll be a full on battle or he'll nip it in the bud.
To be fair it's the son who is blasting about when no parents are at home...
Complete change of topic with no relevance to the above post: how much petrol would it take to permanently immobilise a quad bike should any get accidentally spilt on one?

Not much, but be careful lighting it, ideally throw something that's burning at it, don't use matches whatever you do.singlecoil said:

he is 16 i wonder if he could afford 4 new tyres for the quad?
His parents certainly can! Keeping this with PH boundaries they have some expensive machinery on their gravel covered, electronic gated drive. Actually it would surprise me if he's on here!! Gassing Station | Speed, Plod & the Law | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
