Hi Everyone I am new to the website so not sure if this correct place to post this.

I am Looking for an advice regards my recent Accident.

I was involved in an accident where another car hit into my car. we exchanged details and everything. the next day i received a text message from third party person saying that they were at fault and if i would like to repair the car though them rather then going to insurance however by that time i already had gone to insurance.

the insurance company took all details and told me they are going to further investigate keep this as part claim until they have confirmation from third party insurance and they told me to send all evidence. i sent them all evidence along with that text message that i received from the person involved in the accident.

I kept calling them and they told me they are still waiting on third party. today my injury solicitor have contacted me and advised me that they have received email from third party insurance company "Admiral" saying that my insurance company has accepted the Liability and gone ahead to repair third party car while my car is still in garage waiting to get estimates which is absurd. that is straight dishonestly to me. they even told me before on a call they third party has advised them that the third part client wont be repairing their car through their insurance they will get it repaired by themselves.

After Speaking to esure (my insurance and one the worst insurance companies ) they are saying there is not update on the system and they are still waiting for third pary Insurace (Admiral ) to come back to them and are saying to speak to Liability team.I have spent 6 hours on phone trying to speak to liability team but i am unable to speak to someone. I am not sure what is going

If esure are telling you that there is no update on their system; then your injury lawyer won't have had an email from them. Perhaps check that the injury lawyer has their facts correct first.

If injury lawyer has had an email ask them to forward it to you and call esure back again.

Admiral are arfholes, they settled (presumable as I received a cheque from my insurer for my excess) 18 months after the prang.

And that was for someone that drove onto a roundabout and straight into me, although gawd knows what he told his insurers.

Let the insco deal with it...

I was with Gladiator (owned by Admiral) and was in a non-fault accident.

Awaiting for the inevitable war I was contacted by Esure, the other party's insurer, less than 24 hours later accepting liability.

I was stunned!
