I've just noticed that a previous and still valid endorsement for speeding has the SP50 code on it, however this is for speeding on a motorway, but I was driving on a dual carriageway at the time of the offence.

Is there anything I can do about either trying to get it changed or having it anulled?

I wouldn't bother - it won't make any difference to your insurance, and personally I find speeding on a dual carriageway slightly worse than speeding on the motorway, as the motorway was made for speeding

I would get it corrected. Assume it should be an SP30 instead?

If yourt sure that your dual was not an A1(M) then as the Mags Clerks are the first in line in receipt of your Licence and after payment/conviction tz them that notify DVLA about the points then approach them.

If no joy then have words with DVLA to seek a solution to your problem. Shouldn't be as when it is timeout then it wont crop up again as your not going to get any more points are you?.

I think it should be an SP30 as the offence took place on the A120 in essex.

So approach the Magistrates first then if no joy DVLA?

Cheers,
