Hi guys,
In Feb I was parking up on a tight street and couldn’t park, I went up the street at haste with slight frustration. I noticed a family (man dog and daughter) crossing the road I slowed down and stopped for them (I didn’t need to slam the breaks on) however the man that was crossing the road started shouting at me, after about 20 seconds of him shouting I beeped my horn (so I can carry on and find another parking space) the then moved across the road (not off the road parallel to a parked car, as if he was giving me enough room to get past, as I have a small car this would be easy) I then moved forward going little to no speed (5mph if that) I noticed he stepped back into my wing mirror as soon as I noticed that I stopped and watched him fall to the ground through my passenger window. I then got out of my car and he assaulted me. Anyway the police was called and cctv was in the street. The man pulled out of charges a few weeks back however I got a call to go into the station on Wednesday for due care and attention….. from what I have described can anyone tell me what I am looking at? Points or a course? How many points? (The man sustained no injuries after been checked over by the police). I am a new driver and rely on my car a lot for work and uni and I am only allowed 6 points I am going little to no sleep worrying about this because it was so unintentional, yes u shouldn’t of sped down the road (didn’t go above 30 however it is a tight street, no 20mph limit in place however, and I perhaps shouldn’t of beeped at him as it potentially made a situation worse) but I believe I was in control of my car.
Oh and just in case
Boom!

If only that was the case. Kids are too social-media-savvy to bother posting on an old mens' motoring forum. It's all down to moronic moron moronicness.

What's with sudden rise in word salad nonsense posts appearing in the forums these days?

It's the norm on the socials so it becomes the norm elsewhere - good example how the rot sets in and spreads to other environments
