Bedfordshire police, have gallantly offered to tell you your doing it all wrong speed-wise and othe tips on driving technique.
(providing your not way over the limit)
a member of the 'safety team' will offer constructive criticism of motorist stopped in a trial scheme.

"lets get away from all these speeding fines & points"
one of their dweebs was heard to implore on TV just now.

Better than points, isn't it? Who knows. People might learn something too. If not - they've got off a speeding fine for a few hours "work".

Is this bad?

He won't last long. Such an attitude will reduce Partnership revenues.

Unless, of course, they have now reached the limit on depth of carpet in the offices, quality of veneers on the desks, gold plating on the taps in the toilets, and just want to make sure they don't make a profit this year?

Education, education and more education - thats what we need. Not criminalisation of the population as a whole - and revenue collection.

But hey, you lot know that - its just a shame the "powers that be" see ££££ rather than the real truth.... pitty.

They've already won! EVERYONE now seems to drive ridiculously slow, to the point of every journey becoming more torturous than fun/relaxing.
Why don't they re-callibrate the scameras to go off at cars doing 10mph or less below the limit, they'd make more cash these days!!!

If they're slow they're easier to overtake, surely?

The ones I can't stand are the tailgaters who won't pass. If you get six of them together it can be quite frustrating waiting for an opportunity where the entire queue can be safely passed...

Well the future, prediction was that cars would travel at a safe distance from one another, for miles on end.

LOL, thats just it!!! I can see overtaking opportunities aplenty for the gits 5 cars ahead, but they don't, and I can't, not without relying on blind luck, and as I'm no gambler, I'm stuck in numpty convoy almost every morning and night!

And yet when I do get the opportunity to overtake in a safe and controlled manor, I get lights flashed at me with the driver I've just overtaken waving angrily at me?!?!?!

They are merely venting their fustration at not having enough anticipation, skill and experience at driving to attempt such a thing.... its a positive thing - call it the modern equivalent to a nod of the head or a tip of the cap......

.... or that they have a small penis

Buy a Defender and just go for the little gaps in the numpty convoy.... they get much bigger very quickly!!

Interesting it's Bedfordshire Old Bill/Scammers. I haven't seen their scammer van on the A1 at Sandy lately, and it used to be there on the Northbound side about 3 evenings a week at going home time until recently.

The NUTS scheme, was apparently being launched in
Leighton B, I think it was filmed in.

but how can we know theyre' not just saying, its an unqualified success,
whilst handing out yet more speeding vouchers' to people out of site.

Perhaps they should'row' these up on an airfield somewhere,

like;

So we can see that no-ones pulling a fast one,
