LJ54GBF is a white Pug Partner diesel van.
Unless someone has cloned the plate.......now wouldn't that be ironic.......
it's probably got those nice little tinted windows in the rear doors which flip up. And extra high profile tyres to help it mount kerbs easier...
OK, heads up for users of the A23. Spotted tonight (it was dark so cant verify colour) a dark coloured(black/blue/green) Range Rover Sport unmarked car (may have been a regular RR down on its suspension, but pretty sure it was a Sport). Thats just downright unfair
Luckily for me he was on the hard shoulder with rear blue lights going when I went past loudly in the cerb. Still didnt stop him deciding I was his next meal. Thankfully my turn off was just up the road, before he could get a head of steam. I wast doing silly speeds (late 70s mph), but the way he charged off the hard shoulder he obviously thought I could be his next vitim.

I've seen the usual E39 5 series in various colours.
Also got the shock of my life when a silver Toyota Avensis (i think) driven by a solitary women driver suddely sprang into life with siren and blue flashing lights and roared off somewhere. I've also seen corollas and camrys as well.
Those are all around central London.

more points to add to a "general spotters list"
never more than 3 years old, usually less
no stickers of any kind
no dealer name on numberplate
and usually two blokes who look like coppers sitting in the front
If you're close enough to see the lack of dealer name on the plate, there's something wrong.
Plus I find it's difficult to check out the attire of every driver of every car you pass at 140mph!
My lack of points is due to luck rather than judgement, but my latest trick is simply to avoid motorways, and often get to my destination quicker (and with more fun) due to the truly awful congestion on m-ways these days.
Most of the Australian ones can be spotted by "discreet" LED red-and-blue lights just inside the front and rear windscreens. They can be hard to see, but if the day is sunny, you can just see them up close.
Most of the unmarked cars here are just plain sisters of the marked ones: usually Holden Commodores and Ford Falcons, with the occasional Mitsubishi Magna Ralliart variants. Sometimes, they're very obvious because of the "Crime Stoppers" sticker on the rear bumper (usually driven by detectives). The unmarked traffic enforcement cars are almost always driven by uniformed officers -- a good idea, IMHO.
Some of the more expensive unmarked cars are probably from proceeds-of-crime confiscations. I vaguely remember spotting a prestige German marquee once.
