Anyone think there is either more to this than meets the (public) eye, or that a publicist is at work? I put forward for your consideration:

1) the closing down of a very large area surrounding the shooting (a much wider area than was closed off when Tasawar Hussain was shot dead in similar circumstances);

2) the armed guard on PC Teresa Milburn in hospital (at least two armed officers accompanied her on her brief public appearance yesterday);

3) the armed convoy bearing those arrested in London back to Bradford.

If there is a credible threat to those involved in the investigation or a credible threat that those arrested would be "sprung" from the convoy, the measures being taken would be understandable ... but is that (especially the latter) realistic?

I did wonder about all those police escorting the suspects at time und hoped they had right ones.

After all given recent bad press of shooting an inncocent man, a politically correct top cop who basically fulfills every bad vibe I had at time over his appointment, a GMP CC who make an MP's expense claim appear peanuts per Manchester press und then reading that the getaway car tracked by these wonder cams was in fact car jacked (und you only have to read local newspapers of Northern England as collective pieces und you realise there ist a serious problem und these wonder cams are thus a bit useless as they only track the RK und not the thief who fade into obscurity as per usual....

I sincerely hope for all our sakes they catch these people - but fear too many hasty mistakes impede investigation. I would rather they take time und catch right persons und life mean - really mean life once convicted .... - preferably in jail where they came from if foreign as ist abuse of our good nature und tolerance. Ist not racist to say this - ist statement of fact. If they are foreign - seeking asylum - as suspected - ist like biting hand which try to help them und that ist not acceptable to me as hard working highest tax payer whoc contribute to overall welfare und health of nation anyway.
