The worst driving I have seen in a long time....
Discussion
Had to drive into London yesterday and I was cut up (nastily) twice by a cretin in a BMW. This is nothing unusual I hear you say, the thing that set this incident apart from others was that this cretin was a policeman! I dont know if he was showing off to the people in the back or trying to provoke a reaction from me but after recieving no reaction from me, he went and sat on the tail of a golf and elbowed his way through traffic and cut up a few others. The Registration is
Sir, you are a cretin and a disgrace.
Unfortunately we can't publish vehicle registration numbers on this forum.

You sure it wasn't some kind of security detail and not a copper? Doesn't excuse being a to55er though.

Have you complained to the Met Police? Would seem to be the logical step as you have registration and times.
Through the experience of others, I wont do that. All that happens is the copper in the back (his friend) denies the incident and you make yourself a target for every lairy copper in the country. My car is VERY visable and VERY rememberable.
This is just my little RANT because I was so pi$$ed off with this cretin.

On a more serious note - how on god's green earth can the met police afford BMWs anyway?
Manufacturer discounts to which MoP have no access, plus residual values.
Many fleets (I'm talking commercial business fleets now not plod) operate with utterly barmy rules that cost them a fortune.
For example one I know is on the basis that only manufacturers who buy OUR products will be included. So that might be OK but usually isn't the best option for company or employee in my experience.
Another is a simple employees get an allowance and can pick what they want. Gets complicated when the singleton who really wanted an MX-5 (say) is replaced by a married employee with three kids and really needs a big family estate or MPV. End up with cars not used, contract termination fees, or employees brassed off because their car is not what they want.
Far better economically to have a fleet with limited choice from desirable options.
For plod different set of criteria entirely and some completely different parameters dependant upon intended section use, eg the ability to blend into a crowd for the covert brigade.
Just my 2p.

If the driver has the validity of his conception in question, we should be able to publish his plate
The rule of these fora is that we do not publish vehicle registration numbers. We can not make exceptions to the rule. Please respect this.

If he was in London you can bet there'd be some CCTV of him acting stupid somewhere. Your best option is to report it to the Met and let them do their own investigations. I would hope he's new to the force and he prob needs a stiff talking to from his bosses.

Haven't heard the word cretin used for a long time, my old Latin teacher used to use it all the time, we were all cretins to him. Good word.
Several of the letters/emails I have sent recently have started:
"Dear Cretins....."
Needless to say I haven't received a reply!
