Had an interesting call from one of our field guys - he's just been pulled by Norfolk's finest for 'bobbing his head whilst driving' and given a 10 minute lecture on the dangers of 'bobbing whilst driving' ... The bob-inducing material was the new Artic Monkeys CD, apparently.
Bobbers, be warned
Bobbers, be warned

'Bobbing' conjours up images of one of those innocent-sounding words that isn't. Like 'fluffer'.
No evidence to suggest it is, mind, but it just looks like one of those words. If you see what I mean.
I see exactly what you mean...Not my choice of words - but evidently a Norfolk TrafPol term

I can see where the Norfolk Bib are coming from. I have found myself behind a few 'bobbers' in my time and usually they are looking at paperwork/maps/passengers in fact anything except the road in front of them. At least there are bib out there which is what we PHers keep saying we want. Does pumping up your adrenalin level improve your driving? I think not.
