Some people really need to chill out.

What's so bad about a horse in the road?

OK some are ridden badly, some cars are driven badly.

Around where I live there are areas where the animals (horses, cows) are allowed to roam uncontained across common land and the roads!

Madness I know - let's ban letting animals roam freely too, so we can get to work 3 minutes earlier and have a stress induced heart attack.

very akin to pistonheaders - I am one!

A gallop on a nice horse is a feeling like nothing on earth!

Wife and I both go out in relective gear and thank every single vehicle that slows for us - touch wood we never have any problems.

Makes me mad when I slow down for a horse when driving and don't get even a nod of thanks.

Don't forget, that look of disdain or arrogance on a riders face may just be concentration when said horse is being a prat!

Live and let live

You will find kids on horses on roads and kids on bikes on roads and neither of them will have an adequate concept of what they are doing.
You will find horseshit no doubt, probably an insignificant quantity compared to all the diesel and other cr@p.
You will also find idiots hooning around bridle ways with quads, trail bikes and 4x4s showing even less imagination of 'danger' than these kids on horses on the roads.

It cuts both ways.

I dont suppose the road was their first choice of itinarary either.....

They sh*t enormous piles in the road too, which is pretty manky if you can't avoid them in your car.

Is that the riders or their horses?

Methinks it isn't the car drivers who are getting in a flap.. Since the thread is about Horseriders wanting cameras on their helmets to have a go at car drivers.

I do believe it is our Stallion riding bretherin who is getting hot under the collar!
