just watched, by chance, the episode where the liver is transported through London from the M1 at lunch time

it was interesting to see police rovers "A" Reg, surprised both didn't breakdown, speeds were amazing and it kept the kids transfixed for half an hour, obviously with the advance of helicopters it probably wouldn't happen today and perhaps some PC correct twit probably wouldn’t allow it anyway

an interesting side note was the fact that they said the traffic was heavy, compared with today the traffic was light and reasonably free flowing, if roads were like that now

I watched that too. It really was quite I amazing.

I actually got quite emotional when they made it to the hospital in time.

Saw that on one Guildford trafpols roadcraft courses they ran 15 years ago, think I was even taught by one of the drivers on that Vid. Is it the one where someone gets a bit sideways on a roundabout & they also hoon through Hyde Park or similar

There is an old chap around here that has an old d reg Zephyr 4x4 police car, complete with Lights etc on roof (covered by Bag!!)

Saw him down the pub today, I will ask him what he does with it, drives it regularly in the summer with the bag on top, has a load of old helmet badges etc on the parcel shelf!!
Also saw an old rover police car for sale on Fleabay earlier!!
Would be good to see all the old police cars from the past!!
And by the way did you ever find out who that tosser was that moaned about the tunnel runs who claimed to be a copper??
