This happened about 3 months ago and the chap got a 6 month custodial at a Court in Essex.

Will, nice to hear from you mate and dont be silly.......we didnt run after him, he tried to force his way through the rush hour traffic but because we had a couple of our cars on scene we did an unofficial/official (sshhhhh ! ) TPAC and he couldnt go anywhere.

Once he was taken away and we were smoking big cigars in the car , lol, my face went a strange shade of red. Not because i was tired because of all the excitement but because i had left some 'paperwork' on the roof of our car

Can`t help but notice that Tony hasn`t named his operator yet.....!!
He's probably desperately trying to get his story straight (ie finding witnesses to him "running".

Are you taking time off from polishing your Audi ?

What happened to the guy Tony? Hope he got what was coming!

Not a case of shadenfrauder syndrome, just like to see scrotes get their dues. My favourite programme of all time was by the BBC Watchdog team where they did a special programme where they got a list from the police of the most persistent baildodgers. They said them a letter and phone call inviting them to take part in a big prize TV programme. It is stupid enought they would want to be on TV in their situation, but they got them to the studio and played the quiz. The first question was always along the lines of 'Have you ever committed a crime?' and ended up with further humilation until the BiB stepped out from behind the curtain to read them their rights and make a nice show for the camera as they were taken outside to the waiting squad car!

Anyway, back to topic.... what was the outcome

Nowadays he'd get massive compensation for public embarrassment and infringment of human rights if they did that to him. And Cherie BlaIr would be the one fighting for him!

Nope.

Thankfully it's still going on - Donal MacIntyre did a 'sting' programme which aired last week. Not sure if it was a one off or the start of a new series.
