Imagine you are on a Gumball rally and running out of fuel. You ask a Police driver to help you find a petrol station and then this happens....... www.racegarden.com/show/60
They go past about three petrol stations early on in the footage??
I'm suprised it didn't end in tears. The tendency in this country is to a) Not move over when you hear the sirens and b) Move straight back out as soon as the car with the sirens has gone past. On this occasion they would have had a BMW rapidly inserted up their anus.

Florence, I recognize the route; From Piazzale Michelangelo to Autostrada A1 (Firenze Signa junction), driven it many a time, even had the misfortune to write off my old Fiesta about halfway through that trip. 
Many years ago in the same city I was riding a motorbike, giving a friend a lift home after a (late) night on the town, when an unmarked car/plain clothes Cop pulled us over by screeching to a stop in front of me in his car and jumping out, Gun in hand in true 'Starsky & Hutch' style.
He called for 'backup' they sent 2 Cops in a marked 'Polizia' Alfetta. I then had to follow the marked car with the unmarked behind to a Police Station on the other side of town.
He drove with blues/twos through red lights at very high speeds. I literally had to 'thrash' the bike to keep up with them. Once at the Station it turned out that it was a case of mistaken ID they had been looking for crims breaking into cars in the area where we were seen. They did warn me about illegal carrying of a pillion though as I was only 17 (need to be 18 to carry pillion) but was told to 'get out of here'
