Do all speed camera's flash?

Been told there is a new camera on a local bypass, and apparently one of my sisters mates has recieved 3 points and a fine for doing 80 down there...

Bricking it a little bit as I'm regularly doing a ton plus down there (generally empty, sweepy dual carriageway with excellent visability).

Never been flashed and haven't seen any new white lines so it can't be a gatso.

Specs don't flash at all, and Truvelos flash magenta.

Some new digital cameras about, not sure about those...

I live in Hull and all the speed cameras here and in Humberside don't flash. Its really annoying actually cos you can never tell when you're borderline. You just have to memorise exactly where they are and drive very slowly. And they can spin the bu66ers around aswell so that one day it gets you coming one way then the next it gets you going tother. Very good for traffic calming I suppose but a pain in the bum that you just never know

The new (AFAIK unapproved) digital GATSO cameras use an IR flash, hence you won't see it (you might be able to see it as a low intensity deep red flash)
