I'd LOVE a SafeSpeed sticker on the car!

Id have a car sticker, they should decommission all speed cameras for a year and see how many less accidents there are. If there are less, Brown can swivel, if there are more, theres a few less chav scum to worry about, everyones a winner!

I am happy to support Safe Speed but have a real problem with the SS logo. I spend a fair amount of time driving in Germany and do not want to be mistaken for a Nazi.

Oh I can just picture the Cycling+ mob getting their grindy teeth around this biggrin
I'm a cyclist, of some 34 commuting miles a day - used to drive it until i found i could ride it faster! I have no problems with removing speed cameras! What I have a problem with is car users who cant drive. Likewise, as a driver, I cant stand cyclists who cant use the road properly. Bring on the stickers!

Nice roundy SS sticker could be popular with us (motor)bikers too! (with "Intelligent Road Safety" message too of course.)
Why not post on BikerBanter also ?

As the 'new' owner of Safe Speed and Paul's beloved partner, I am pleased to say that Paul & I have various ideas for car stickers I know that they will be popular and we are going to need all the money that we can get !
Please give me some time to develop the ideas and go to print .... Safe Speed website will be the FIRST to know ..... .http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/10.gif..
Thank you all for your ongoing help and continued kind words.
Please note that the Paul Smith Safe Speed Obituary has now been press released and I have received some warm and very supportive comments back.
Long may the campaign run, is Paul a martyr - I think so.http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/imgs/6.gif

Any progress on the car stickers?

I work in the same building as the Dorset Safety Camera Partnership and would love to park amongst their fleet of 'detector' vans with a big Scrap the Cameras sticker in the window.

Where's that then? I assume it's in Dorchester.

Just to mention, this link has been round a couple of cycling forums. I'm amazed you've not had a response from the more extreme of cyclists.

guess the marketing bods do not consider it worth producing car stickers for a car site and hope that we will use the mugs or t-shirts that not a lot of people will see, oh well......

This thread only just caught my attention and on reading the title I thought it would be cool to have a SafeSpeed t-shirt or something to wear over here in Germany... then I saw the logo. yikes I'll be giving it a miss...!
