I don't live anywhere near Bristol and can't remember ever going anywhere near the place for over a decade.

I have never questioned your car ownership. You have a Ferrari, good for you. I have questioned your stories that are both too far fetched to be from the pages of Walter Mitty, yet you continue to blather on about them and now profess to be Public Enemy No. 1.

You're a bit of a tool. A tool with a very nice car. Now others are challenging your car ownership and that's easy to prove them wrong. At least you'll prove one of three ongoing discussions
All I hear is clucking....... Internet tough guy capitulates! Well done..... So brave, mummy just be proud hahahahahahahahaha

Maybe I'm cynical, having been a member of another forum where a very prominent member who I'd spoken to via email on several occasions, and who had posted various pictures of himself with various expensive cars and told similarly outlandish stories actually turned out to be a complete fraud.

Provided you've got a few wealthy friends or family, it's really not hard at all to create an entirely false online persona. I could very easily create a celebrity lifestyle for myself with a few photos from the last year or two, but in reality I'm a student with less money than 90% of people on here.

Normally I wouldn't bat an eyelid at someone on this site with a few nice, expensive cars. But someone who posts in the manner that you do, and makes other claims that seem impossible is bound to attract attention. Maybe you are, as you say, a larger than life character, the loud guy at the end of the bar type. But it seems such a coincidence that all the people who have been found out to be fantasists have been exactly the same type of people, who have portrayed exactly the same type of character.

It makes no difference to me whether you're telling the truth or not, but you can't blame people for being suspicious. I used to take things at face value, but if you'd seen some of the incredibly elaborate lies some people tell, for no apparent reason, you'd be just as sceptical as anyone else.

Have you capitulated? Have you admitted to making up the story about insurance fraud and the 25 minute gap in 120 miles? It's just I can't see it anywhere.

I didn't question your cars and as I keep saying they don't interest me, sadly they seem to be your raison d'être and the thing that you keep banging on about with me. Your attempts to deflect attention away from your Walter Mitty speed and insurance claims aren't working are they.

Cluck cluck cluck again!, someone left the chicken coup open. Just been to the mall, and you never rang or emailed yet!

Everything I have posted is 100% true, including the fact you are a terrified fool, who when faced with someone who says 'okay, let's meet up' poos his pants. Hahahahahahahahahahaha

I'd take your point, except I offered to meet the guy, and he choked on his dinner. No lies here mate, I'm guessing I know of the same few guys you do as I'm on another prominent forum too, and enjoy watching them taken down as much as the next guy if they are frauds.

I'll give you an example - one of the guys I'm talking about went as far as to organise a banger rally on his land, invited several forum members, and then backed out at the last minute. You could offer to meet someone, then back out at the last second, delete your account and have a laugh to yourself that you've got some random guy to go on a trip for nothing.

Of course, I'm not saying you'd do that, but it's been done before.

I'll give you another example - I've just spent the week staying in a penthouse in central manhattan, one of several which my friend owns. I had it all to myself, had the keys in my hand, etc. I could have built up an elaborate story on here, waited for somebody to call me out as they have with you, and happily met up with them, safe in the knowledge they'd never find out it wasn't actually mine. Equally, you might have a friend with a nice collection of cars which you can borrow whenever you want - wouldn't be so difficult to turn up in one and prove everybody wrong.

Then again, you could be totally genuine. The thing about the Internet is that anybody can pretend to be anyone, and no matter how much detective work people do (and some of those people are just as sad as the fantasists IMO) you never really know for sure.

Personally, if I ever did meet you I'd be happy to give you the benefit of the doubt. Others would be less sceptical than me, others more so.

Awesome, penthouse over Manhattan, overlooking the park, or not? Love New York, don't get there nearly as much as I should, but I love Las Vegas more, so I hit there three or four times a year at the expense of everywhere else these days.

Since I'm still here, and he's clucking away pretending he didn't agree to meet, I reckon the fantasist here is him. If I thought he was safe, I could easily have brought him to the house, meet the Mrs, the dogs, and see that I work from here, so my business premises could even be inspected if he wished. Course, if he turned out to be the 8 foot secret service tough he seems to feel he is, I wouldn't let him near the place, although I'd still meet up as it would be fun to watch him chase the car in a fit of rage!

I just don't get these guys thinking that if you post something, they automatically have the right to inspect the court papers, see the video, interview witnesses? Either take it as red, or don't, why do they feel the need to get arsey over everything? Weird, they have lots of time on their hands, and people like myself are quite happy to poke them back, but really, are they expecting me or anyone else to care that they are so indignant?

This is really hard work. I've already said that I don't have a password for the old email account that I used to set this account up. I will get it changed. I don't have your phone number either, or am I supposed to guess it?

However, I'm not going to Bristol as it's miles from me. I'll be doing loads of trackdays this year. You can pop up somewhere and meet me if you'd prefer. I'll post them up in the Biker Banter section for you.

I'm not scared of meeting, I think it'll be reasonably funny. It will though he a long drive to watch a grown man giving it "considerably richer than yo" assuming you are actually a grown man (amd that's quite a stretch at the moment). You do come across as a child and whilst they can be entertaining when related, I find other people's children quite annoying after a short while.

What I don't understand is that if you do indeed have such cars, why on earth do you spend all your time on here arguing with people - surely you've got far better things to do?

It's very obvious that the people on here with the seriously expensive cars barely post at all, and I must say, every seriously wealthy person I know simply wouldn't bother getting into a "my car's better than yours" conversation on the internet.
.... If someone accused you of not having the car you had mentioned and made out you were a liar, would you not correct the little moron?

Probably. If I was chronically insecure as you appear to be. Otherwise I'd shrug and let him get him get on with it.

Mind, for the same reason I wouldn't have posted as you did.

You're hardly coming across as someone with the nous to have made a success of your life, are you? Comments like this would seem to place you firmly in the schoolboy demographic, and indeed, in the school playground. Is it any wonder you're being painted as a fantasist? Just grow up. FFS.

What a total shambles this thread has become. Sadly symptomatic of PH in recent times.

Anyone earnestly measuring theirs or others opinions by how flash their car, house, or some other accoutrement is ought to have a word with themselves.

Being affluent doesn't automatically make one more intelligent, worldly or authoritative. Some of the most engaging and erudite people don't have much in the way of material wealth (or care for it), live from paycheque to paycheque, etc.
