Howdy Niall, I am out of the country but I did see your email and I replied but I take it you haven't received it. I checked the thread about tyres and I put on there that they were £430+VAT as far as I can remember....

I think PH has the wrong email address listed for me which doesn't help. Well that's cheaper than the Michelin PS2 runflats. I'm reluctant to buy the Cups as they are so different from what's on the front. I think I'll take you up on 2 of those then. The G2s are much better than the original OEMs you say? Anyway, it's Christmas - enjoy yours

I only have two miles of wet driving experience on the cups as they are standard fit on our Centennial Z06. They are a fun day tyre and their life will be short, really for track days. They are only boasting 3.5mm new and I'm not even sure they are available in standard Z06 sizes? G:2's are a good move forward from the original tyre, particularly when warm. Still not sharp under 8 degrees but I'm not aware of any Corvette tyres that are. They look meaner too which is always a nice bonus! Have a good Christmas and feel free to give Chris McDonald at my Aftersales dept. a call if you want them sending out.

I think but don't quote me on this that the 2012 Z06 has the same 18" / 19" wheel sizes as other year C6 Z06's. The Cup Style wheels maybe 19" / 20" but I've only seen one 2012 Carbon Flash Z06 in the flesh and I didn't look at the wheel sizes.

All Z06 Centennial's are on the new lightweight rim as they all have Z07 package too. 19/20's are standard fit, as is leather wrapped interior package, Carbon Fibre Package too.

I've seen a car in NZ that I've mentioned before on the C5 or C6 thread. It is very similar to the Russian Space Station car. It's now $80,000 NZD and the VIN is 1G1YY26E965103237. Anything to be aware of on this one? Any recalls that need to be done. Any recommendations of prices and buying from the US or UK and cost landed in NZ? It is a tad over my budget and a lot more $$$ than UK or US cars. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=36...

I can't tell you much about the Z06 either as it would appear the car left the US when new. The roof separation recall is showing as open and may require actioning.

As previously mentioned this car has history.... Some unwitting bugger will end up with it.
There is an Escalade for sale on here too that appears to have been clocked. It had done 10,000 miles two years ago but now it's only covered 6,500. Magic!

Yeah but alarm bells should be ringing as soon as you see the price. It must be cheap for a reason.

Can anyone be more specific on what is wrong with this Z? I'm sure I saw it advertised when I was looking for mine last summer.

I think it has some dubious past history behind it.

It has a word written on its US title that is remarkably similar to 'savage'. Kind of similar to a cruise ship lying on the Island of Giglio.....
