Woolfie said: Anyone had a look at the Z06 over at BHP Motorsport; looks good. Researching into Z06's seems a lot of car for the money. I have had a Viper in my time but never really considered corvette's maybe i should. Hello, that is my car for sale with BHP, it is not the Top Gear test car. I am buying a house and the missus told me it has to go! I still have several other ridiculous motors so will not be without something to play with, though I am very sad to part with the Z06 as it has been a bloody brilliant motor. Mitch is right to point out about the clutch but I looked after the car on a money no object basis, and always changed the clutch fluid prior to doing any launches or tests. If you google "Ranger Z06" you will find he set some of the quickest 1/4 mile times in a Z06, and it was he that recommended being ultra careful with the clutch fluid to avoid slippage. I followed his advice religiously and never had any clutch problems. As Jimexpl said, Stratstone delivered the car to me from new as an official UK vehicle and registered it in March 2006, a couple of weeks before the cut off for expensive road tax, so it only costs about 200 quid to tax. I don't wish to turn this reply into an advert so if any one else would like to know about the cars background, do send me a PM or call BHP directly - they have the entire history of the car there with them. Regards, CJ

Interesting replies as I am going to be putting mine on the market this month too. Nice to see the values have held up well and that there is still a lot of interest in the car, still seems a bargin for the performance any way you look at it.
Good luck with your sales.

Wow it looks great! Shame the big yellow thing is in the way of the Saab. Give us a close up of the 9-5.

Had an independent inspection done today by MVI UK. Matt ( The inspector ) was impressed by the knowledge of the proprietor (Tom has written 8 or 9 books on Corvettes IIRC )
To be honest - while the premises is quite small they only deal in Corvettes. Been in business since 1977. Some stunning classic cars there. Worth a visit.
Will pick the car up after Le Mans.

Come say hello, we'll be at the GBW on Friday and, if I drag myself away in time, the PH meet Friday afternoon.

I have been using Claremonts for some time now. Never had any problems with them. And a lot more knowledge than some of the other so called Corvette indus.
