Front designed by Victor Kiam.Stevie Wonder.
I think the CTS-V is such a great looking car, The front just sets it off for me. And the Coupe itself is one of the best looking cars to come out of America in the last 20 years. And Corvette power too!!That's the great thing with cars is they are not for everyone and we all have our own tastes.
I'm sure we will have people on here say the C7 is going to be ugly or not a real Vette, But time moves on..

I've just seen a C7 in the flesh and it is really ugly and not a real Vette Only kidding - I'm sure (based on the C4/5/C6 experience) that as long as it has a suitably torquey V8 we'll all grow to love it whilst reminiscing about how wonderful the C6 was! (Only caveat being whether we can afford it or not given the rate of high-end auto inflation at the moment...and that's not just a "GM in the UK" statement).GW65 said:

Darn, say you had me going for a moment there!I know it's winter and all that but I'm seeing fewer and fewer sports cars of any kind on the road these days. Amuses me immensely that the low and wide C5 really does stand out from the crowd. Hope C7 has a bit of drama about it!

Ok, seeing as you asked so nicely............
I have to say whilst I find the Victor Kiam quote amusing, if that came buzzing up behind me I would sure notice it - it's a breath of fresh air in comparison to the blandomobiles on our roads today.Credit where it's due, I like the in yer face styling and haunched up rear. Dare I ask how much?? Say it quietly.

I just wish I could drive it everywhere backwards. Credit where it's due, I like the in yer face styling and haunched up rear. Dare I ask how much?? Say it quietly.
List is £74,000 OTR. This one is going to be a demo for a little while unless someone is desperate for it before the 1st March.

Have to agree with that. Everything looks the same, everything the same colours.....Credit where it's due, I like the in yer face styling and haunched up rear. Dare I ask how much?? Say it quietly.
The one I spotted looked really 'mean' on the road. You could see it was something different as soon as it appeared on the horizon. To answer your question Mitch, I don't recall it having German plates but tbh I didn't pay that much attention to the plates
Never really been a fan of the C5 shape tbh but then if we all liked the same the roads would be even more bland.

Cheers Mitch. I thought it would be that sort of money. If it was RHD the numbers would be good I'm sure. Maybe I need a trip to Manchester...
That suggests that you think LHD is to the cars detriment but we actually see it the other way round. It's because Corvettes are LHD only that their values have held up so well. We depreciate cars faster and harder than any other country in Europe which is why so many Corvettes left the UK and headed for Germany, France and Belgium. Being LHD this car will always have a target audience in these countries and will undoubtedly remain more valuable as a result. Besides, all the best cars are LHD including my 8C Spider!Ah, now your talking.
Whilst I haven't a problem with lhd, given the choice I would take rhd everytime and I think most people if they were honest would. This subject has been discussed on this forum many times so I won;t dig it all up again. Anyway, I think it looks superb and you're right -a Marmite car. I LOVE Marmite.
