While we're on the subject of different homes for Vette engines... How much would a Camaro ZL1 cost OTR over here?
Anywhere from £55,000 to £62,000 I would suggest....
Are you likely to import the ZL1? My first choice if money was no object!

We are looking at sourcing a couple and will be supplying them to order. They are not going to be brought to Europe by GM as the homologation for the Camaro would not count for the ZL-1 given the extensive changes to bodywork and drivetrain.

Just watched this weeks Top gear USA which test drove the whole V range of CTS's.
Let's go back in time...... !

Just caught up with the episode off Planner. The way American Stig hustled that CTS-V wagon round the track was simply astounding! Truly astonishing car and driver.

Incredible value at $60,000. Sadly this doesn't seem to translate at all well into English.

For the avoidance of doubt the range of V-Series cars actually starts at £67,000 OTR for the Sedan, £69,000 for the Wagon and £70,000 for the Coupe. By comparison to other cars over here I don't think that's excessive and if you think that a higher spec Camaro ZL-1 will be into £60k's by the time it is in the U.K. then I would personally put the money towards a CTS-V Coupe instead.

After the seeing this car in the flesh on Friday, I have to say it's one of the best looking cars on the road for less than £100k. What else can you buy with that power and how many will you ever see in the UK. Audi,BMW,Mercs don't matter what you buy these cars are two a penny.
