My Vortech blown Mustang achieves 24mpg average and will do 30 on a run. I take it you are converting the USmpg readout to UK mpg though.

No that is from brimming the tank doing the tank and re brimming it and working it out, 18mpg is what i get regardles of how i drive, i have heard many people quote mid 20's but i never get anywhere near that. i have assumed they are going by the on board computer which i dont have on mine, I just think the V6 is not as efficent as the V8?

Possibly though I'm amazed you can get an accurate full tank on a Mustang. A blower certainly encourages far smaller throttle openings as large ones are rarely necessary so you may have a good point.

Yes the blessed tank filling problem with Mustangs, i did find a petrol station near by that would not keep clicking off so i used to literally brim it so i could see the fuel so as to get an as accurate as possible reading, saying that i do have a Brabus smart car and when driving in my normal style only does 35MPG, problem with having size 12 feet biggrin

Did quite a bit of reasearch and and looked at a few a couple of years back. I would have bought one then but a few bills croped up. So when my C5 eventually went i went for a cheaper C6.

Nice article/video by the way biggrin Presume that's you, unless there is someone else out there frightening the camels with an atomic orange Z06?
