Hey thanks guys , long as its entertaining .
Tiger , will take a few pics of polishing tools . Trick is to zone out , its just f tedious lol.
Exhaust , well I really wanted to get another corsa touring cat back , real crisp , been discontinued
because people thought they were not loud enough , so only option was this which is the sport which is the old pace car version lol. Bit boat like but does bark and scare the crap out of me every time I fire it up.
Dyno day today, one run only, shreaded main drive belt so something`s off pulley wise . Been ok up till now , but high rpm will test a motor for sure .
Been told that was a conservative run , no meth and hit 640 RW HP , Belt alignment is pissing me off but probably should be happy with a small niggle compared to what could of happened.
Hope to get the car back by the weekend and give it a good clean and new oil / filter , after the thrashing its had of late lol.

At the time I only measured the height to see if I could find some fans off ebay .
Not sure where they mount it on a C6 , but they do have a nice big grill area which is probably way better than the C5 .

Nursed the thing home Saturday , didn't want to push my luck with the belt , got on it though few miles from home , just instant boost and way to much power
Got a tedious off idle flat spot that you have to try and drive through , like when pulling away at lights etc you have to get the revs up which can make you feel a dick lol.
Tuner says its the best he can get it , and tell`s me the cam is to blame because of low vacuum , also had to raise idle speed to try and help the situation .
If it is the cam then that one will be coming back out too .
After the last cam , and when buying this one I did ask the guy as long as we don't have any tuning issues I`m in .
Not right to finger point until I have more info though . Off to do more research and buy another £50 belt , that one probably is down to me though

Vaughan , Thanks bud , think I would have zero mates and no mrs if I sold
ringram , have had a chat ,hope to take it up there asap .
Still need to do the belt and maybe swap the injectors for the 63`s which came with the blower.
Although I have been told the 1000 mags can be leaned out more than enough at idle , so don't know lol.
Need to check again with tuner , if I do swap em do you reckon it would drive up there ? can get it transported so not a biggie .
Work and bathroom diy have set thing`s back a tad
