What is going on here?
Firstly no-one here knows why Col is selling the car and secondly it's his car - his asking price should be of no concern to anyone on this forum.

If any of the contrubutors to this thread have actualy sold a C5 privately (I have), then they will know that there are not many buyers so they can be hard to shift - priced keenly can only help achieve an urgent sale which is what Col wants.

Look if someone wants a C5 they want one, therefore reducing the price wont make them want one more.
Col is doing himself NO favours by underselling, this does no C5 residuals anygood yours included Goodytwoshoes.

I want a big house in London but can't afford one... I'm sure if anyone here offers me theirs at a substantial discount I'd jump at the offer...

Actually, I have a GREAT IDEA!!!

Since Colvette selling his vette under the market value will bring down residual prices I'm MORE than happy to sell someone my Z06 for more than it's worth just to bring the residual prices back up again...

I've been reading this tread over the last week and up until now, managed not to say anything. BUT really, what is your problem????? If somebody on here (a regular on this forum - UNLIKE YOU)wants to sell their car and have priced it to shift it - let 'em. Whats it got to do with you? Get a life sad muppet.

If anything you've helped him a bit by keeping this thread active and therfore keeping it on the top of the forum.

Havent lost loads of dosh on a car recently have you ???

Madbrian. You are an idiot.

I need to trade out the vette - I don't have to tell you my reasons, but they are genuine.

I've phoned around every american car dealer, and they're all offering me quite a bit lower than the price I've put up here.

There is nothing wrong with the car at all - in fact, it's a peach, but I need to move it.

And your "point" is all wrong. You think I'm underselling the car? Wierd that - I haven't had a single enquiry about it, even though I think it's a bargain. Surely if I was lowering the price too much, I'd have been inundated by interest?!?

Little trolls like you really bring the usuals down. Get a grip, you muppet.

Well said Col. Funny that it's us C5 owners who are wishing you luck in selling you car. Keep us posted (and don't forget to send a private email to the tosser when its sold).

I assume you tried Chris Graham.
