Real bummer mate sorry to hear of your woes.Sure you're at the end of your patience.

Was looking forward so much to seeing it in the Lake District in the flesh.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you. Eric.

Thanks, it is not going as well as I had hoped.

I try and keep it in perspective it is very much a first world problem, my toy is going to turn up late hardly
cuts it as a major issue when you look around and see the problems of others.

Hi OBV,

I'm over this side of the pond and can absolutely confirm the craze that is surrounding the C7, they really can't make them quick enough. I have been making tentative inquiries about ordering and standard dealers come straight out with it will be 5-10k over MSRP. That is so unheard of for US dealers to want to nail price in the first two minutes! They just don't get the allocations and demand is far outstripping supply.

Big vendors that advertise on the main forum over here are getting cars but discounts (particularly on Z51 cars) are rare. Most built to order cars are specced this way which again of course probably hampers the euro market. You can get into a non z51 ready built car pretty quickly but anything else seems to be weeks and weeks.

I've all but given up on a 2014 now and am waiting out the summer months to hopefully watch demand drop. (This certainly happens with the used vette market here which swings wildly through the seasons.) I also think that the intro of the Z06 will see a lowering of stingray demand and a healthy supply of used examples on the market.

Yours will turn up eventually I'm sure and will be worth the wait!

Good choice of colour, Vettes look awesome in silver.

I don't seem to be any nearer getting my car, maybe being built this month who knows, then the time taken by shipping but there seems to be plenty available in Europe this French dealer has several for sale most colours straight off the forecourt.

Patience is wearing thin and the lack of information is frustrating.
