Hmmm they say the rotors of the TVS are now shorter and they are spinning it faster! dose that mean they are using the TVs1900 blower rather than the 2300? This would allow the same engine and intercooler option to be used across more platforms. Maybe they will do a ZR1 with the TVS3300 that was planned!

The rotors on this C7Z are 1.7L. Also the packaging is crazy! its only 25mm taller than the NA version!

Yeah done a little more reading. Sounds like the 1.74 actually shifts as much air as the 1.9. And in the new housings GM feel it will match the 2300 form the ZR1! Very promising for a ZR1!

Well, the 1.74 is probably going to be much closer to it's limit than the 2300. Look at some pullied Zr1s spinning the blower close to 20,000 rpms. 750-800rwhp (dynojet). I'm sure that 1700 still has some room for power but not sure on it's ultimate potential. Also the packaging is crazy! its only 25mm taller than the NA version!

The intresting thing is even though the blower is smaller, the numbers say that it can put out a similar amount of air to the 1900! These have been pushed into the 700rwhp range in the US.
