I bought a Z06 from Bauer Millets in Sept of last year. And only just got around to putting up a picture of it...........

A couple of jobs I have done so far are to have the windows tinted. Fitted a pair of muth turn signal mirrors and remove both the rear boxes. Next week it goes into have the wheels painted in shadow chrome. Similar to what was on the old E39 BMW M5.

Be interested to see the wheels when done. My ZR1 wheels are in shadow chrome (middle shade) and I was thinking about the darkest shade of shadow chrome for the Z06 when they need doing. That or black.

I think the black would be too much. Getting them done next week. So as soon as they are done I will post pics.

Hello Ken. Well i looked on all the various forums regarding issues with back pressure and loss of performance. And all came back with positive reports. No loss of power and in some cases their seem to be an increase in performance on some quarter mile times.

As for liveable then it suits me. Took it to work and done a few pull aways. Came back to a few open mouths. That said it all. I did put the NPP fuse back in though. Just for it to ba little quieter around town.

Wherever your going I envy that ... It's a car you get out of at the end of a Drive and you could do it all again! With a Grin on your Face... Great Stuff!

Going down to the Italian Lake Garda meet again. That includes lots of eating, a track day at Modena and lots more eating. Think the plan is to go down via Germany for the autobahns again, perhaps stopping at the Technik museum at Speyer. I've done the sister museum at Sinshiem a couple of times and its unbelievable what they have there. Then on the way back we are going via Monaco then a few days at the Gorge du Verdon and then back to Monaco for the GP before driving home in one hit (easy in the Z06), the only time we stop is when the car needs fuel.

The Z06 is built for crossing continents. You should take it on a road trip. Good quality roads, less traffic, great scenery what's not to like? Oh and a place to stretch its legs legally. I was over 150mph for much of our trip down last year, maxing at around 192mph on GPS on one quiet but of autobahn. smile just don't keep fuel receipts and never add them up if you do wink

Yes Mark. Like many people yesterday, I only found their cars and not them!! Wheels look good. Quite a dark shade but works really well on those wheels.

Not mine then. I have yet to have mine done. I saw two Z06,s apart from mine. One red and another black one which had a dark chrome finish. I wasn't to sure if it worked. I might go with a gunmetal finish on mine.

Nope. It was parked away from the CCCUK cars. Mine was parked on the hard standing next to a very nice Toyota Supra.

Well i still attend the show but not in the Ferret. Its no longer at the hop farm but now at folkstone race course. The extra distance doesn't justify the extra cost and transport to attend. I just keep it to local shows.
