If you are talking about the Corvettes, it is doubtful that they have reverted back to Corvette Europe under the GM stocking facility. Are probably vested with the Receiver. Auction material??

That's what I thought, I should imagine they will turn up at a Manheim or BCA specialist auction.
Have BM gone bust or have they just closed the doors ?

As a former technician at Bauer Millett (up until August last year) I can honestly say I had an absolute blast for nearly 5 years, and had thing not been looking insecure for a while I would probably still been there! It's very sad what has happened and there may not be anything like it again, and working on some of the stuff we did was an experience I personally won't forget. Good news is pretty much everyone I'm in contact with has found new jobs

Did you buy it from the administrators?
I called up about it, probably the second week of Jan, but they said that an offer had already been accepted.

No i bought it from a dealer by Heathrow. They had purchased several of BM's stock. I was going to import but got it after it had been on autotrader for an hour. Happy days. How much did BM want for it?

It wasn't openly on the market at Bauer Millet, as the Euro spec cars are in short supply and they wanted to hold onto it.
Enjoy the car!

Purchase records etc?
I guess I have no hope, but would anyone else have taken on the Bauer Millett sales and service records? My 2007 Corvette Z06 was supplied by them as U.S. Import with light conversion by them to euro spec. I have a stamped service book, but little else in the way of history and it would be good to compile some history.
Any thoughts??

You should try Ian Allan Motors with the vin.

I bought one of the Man Utd 2013 Grand Sports. It had no stamps and nothing was found in GM computer records about servicing. It was two years old with 2,000 miles on it.

GM attempted to invalidate the warranty until I pointed out to them that they had owned the car and if they were saying it wasn't serviced, then that was their decision not to look after the car. From enquiries I made with ex BM staff, they were serviced but I guess the records weren't updated as it was an unusual arrangement with GM, unlike a normal customer relationship.

They eventually said they wouldn't cover the engine internals but I couldn't be bothered to argue until something happened which was unlikely (and didn't). I did get the harmonic balancer replaced under warranty, but unfortunately had to use a GM replacement.

Has it had (are you aware of?) the headlights recall work done on it? Ian Allan can advise/have been doing it for C6 owners since the start of last year.

The headlight/fusebox wiring recall wasn't issued to newer cars. I think it was 2005 to 2007 only, although Ian Allan was doing the work to later cars if requested by the owner to do so.

I had my 2005 done in May 2015 by Ian Allan who also did the same work on my friends 2008 car at the same time although it wasn't subject to the recall.

...ignore me - I just realised you were talking about a 2007 car anyway! (I thought the comment was about the 2013 car to which Rich was referring)

No. I bought it from the second owner. He bought it unseen from Sere and kept it for only 3 months.
