Rumours are starting on the internet on the updates to the 2016 C7 corvette:

http://gmauthority.com/blog/2015/04/details-on-upd...

Looks it's purely skin deep and nothing technical is changing (don't think anything did for the 2015 apart from the auto-box change?). Guess that says they thought the original 2014 C7 was near perfect? The blog does point to news on a C7.R special edition though.

Anyone with a C7 think they're missing a trick only updating colours and decals?!

If it follows a similar pattern to the C6 (which it has with the new auto-box in the 2nd model year) then my money's on an uprated engine for 2017.

This fills you with confidence when you've just spent £70k:

"Ian Allan Motors Ltd

"Buy a used car from a franchised Subaru Dealer and you can expect unrivalled customer care and commitment to the highest standards of service. A comprehensive package of benefits accompanies all approved and Direct cars to ensure your complete peace of mind."

Hmmmm

Im afraid that summary is not written by us, but by Subaru themselves.

You've got to get that bit changed - it isn't a good start. Anyway best of luck with Corvette, I'm just up the road from you so will have my eyes peeled on your forecourt each day!

And to be honest, slightly disappointing as a Corvette Club UK supplier and Club member, that IA didn't announce/post on the club website that they are now an approved new car supplier? They've had some business from club members in the last few months, if only to do the headlight recalls on C6s.

After all the good write ups/road tests of C7s in the last year, Autocar still doesn't list C7 prices, still listing the prices of C6s (Duh?)

As editor of Vette News I have 'offered' to run an article on Ian Allen becoming an authorised sales dealer. We have notified club members previously of I A's servicing/warranty/after-sales operation. Perfectly happy to do this if someone from I A Motors wishes to contact me - (if they do this in the next week or so I will run it in our June edition)
