Great thread this! Never owned an American car before but really love them.
Hoping to get a C4 5.7 one day but its convincing the missus, haha
There's quite a few 'Cheap' ones going for around the £4K marker or so, is it worth spending more to get a decent one? Because if so I'd rather spend a fair whack more and get a 1980 shape Stingray.
But the C4 is really starting to look good I reckon!

Although some of these oldies might not be able to compete with the newest cars in speed and horse power, they are certainly still very, very nippy ^^ And you'll have the added benefit of driving a car which isn't seen a lot, so it'll turn a few heads. And there is no better feeling than sitting in a car which people stare at with gaping mouths and you thinking to yourself, 'Yep, that's right, this is MY Vette!  '
