Great to see another R400 at KH - a good weekend of motor sport there this weekend with Time Attack and SLS, to say nothing of the Benetton F1 car demoHere's me shattering my PB at the SLS

Some footage from a recent track day at Snetterton 300. Tried to keep up with a Clio Cup Racer but could not quite manage it.
New camera and mic position compared to my previous videos which I am pretty pleased with although I did not get the camera lined up quite straight!

very very nice lap - you really attack the hairpin and over duffus...big time difference over last time when I spoke to you up at KH...do you think it has much more to come? Was that on road tyres or slicks? Here's me shattering my PB at the SLS

That was on a new set of soft Kumhos. To make the use of all the 270 BHP the car is now producing does need good (new) tyres. I think, with the right driver, slicks, and a sequential box, there would be a 53 second lap in there. But when do you stop spending money? Just glad to get to the 55's as I was struggling a bit up to that point.
And here is my version of the above, but from a different perspective.

Okay another one to share. I've decided it's a tribute to the peashooter exhaust on my Supersport:

Sounds fantastic. Way better than my duratec with the fat silencer. I'm not sure I could live with the look of the thin peashooter though - I really want something that sounds obnoxious (in a good way!) but the same size and style as I already have.
Kudos for driving sans doors btw. I love the idea of it, but I find it gets uncomfortable at 50mph, unpleasant at 60mph and unbearable above 70mph. I'd do the aero thing if I thought I could get away without a helmet.

I need to do one of these. What camera are you using? Nice to see someone driving their car properly too - good use of revs, nothing too ridiculous.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBie7Tt6zQY

It's not a Supersport R, just the (Sigma engined) Supersport.
Ah, sorry. Certainly sounds like it has lots of character exhaust wise. I'm contemplating\dreaming of a Supersport R or R400. But that looks surprisingly quick and effortless on the road and I used to have a 180bhp Zetec Westfield.

Yes it goes well.
I think that's the point when we have newbie's on the Caterham forum stating they need 200bhp minimum....140bhp goes a long way in 520kg (not suggesting this is you of course, ecpecially with your Westfield experience).
I started with 140 bhp in my 1800 Supersport, then 165 and now over 200. True, you don' t need it but it does help.
