Great work, I watched almost all of it! I assume you must have won? What are the specs of your car? It's like a rocket ship!

Looks like a 'run what you brung' kind of event, especially when you came upon the smart car!

Cheers, I didn't win as its a team event but I did put in the 29th fastest lap of the race out of 340 cars!

The car has a Duratec 260bhp engine with a sequential box.

The race is called the Birkett 6Hr relay race, teams of 6 cars and drivers enter against 70 teams, its a good crack!

What time did you pass the poor guy with the bonnet off his yellow 7 on the Llangynidr mountain road? I headed over there around 1pm and he was still there :S

I guess I passed that point at about 12:00 or just after. I have to admit at the time I didn't notice the bonnet off although it's quite obvious from the camera footage. I think it was throttle cable problem which has been mentioned on Blatchat.

I didn't spot the bonnet off either while passing, I assumed he was just stopped taking a photo since it was such a nice day.

I even had a spare throttle cable in the boot (though I guess it probably wouldn't have fitted anyway).
